ABOUT FORBES PARK

Forbes Park Village, which consists of the North and South area, is a gated community with 24-hour security and with a breezy atmosphere, wide roads, and a line of beautifully, large old trees. Many upper class Filipinos and expatriates reside in Forbes Park Makati, including many people employed by various embassies.

Forbes Park Village Association or “FPA manages this village. In the center of North Forbes Park Village is the administrative office with a medical and dental clinic for domestic staff and a security office and a mini fire engine. Adjacent to the building is a large, grassy playground with new climbing equipment, swings, slides and a huge sandbox as well as a covered outdoor basketball court.

Homes and gardens in this neighborhood are generally quite large with walls and fences surrounding them. Generally, every house in Forbes Park Makati has a swimming pool and grassy yard or “garden”. Most of the houses tend to have 8 to 10 foot cinderblock walls surrounding them. Kids’ bike and roller-blade and many people walk their dogs and jog on these protected streets. Moreover, they may attend masses at Sanctuario De San Antonio and may chill out at some stores at San Antonio Plaza Arcade, both at the San Antonio Area, just nearby Forbes Park North.

In addition to the vicinity of the Forbes Park Makati, it is relatively close to Makati Central Business District, and to Bonifacio Global City. The residents may go to malls like Glorietta, the Greenbelt Complex, and the Rockwell Center. These malls offer great enjoyment and entertainment since it also offers great food, great movie houses and specialty stores to shop from. SM Makati and Park Square is may also be visited for buying grocery items and going to the supermarket. They may go to Ayala Triangle and Ayala Center, as well, to catch up with the events being held on these places. Moreover, they may go to the Bonifacio Global City, where Market! Market! Mall and Venice Piazza may be visited. Furthermore, they may visit the other parts of Metro Manila through EDSA, such as Pasig, Mandaluyong, Manila and Quezon City.

The village perimeters are along EDSA, a residential area called Pinagkaisahan, Manila Golf Club (private), and McKinley Road. Forbes Park Village is also sometimes referred to in the media as “exclusive” or “posh”.
